Basic Farm Maps

Farm maps can be created accurately and quickly using satellite imagery. No special tools or maps are needed and once created accurate measurements of land area and coordinates are automatically calculated. Maps can be easily adjusted and edited.

Buffer Ring Maps

Delineate distance from specific object to surrounding area. For example, for a feedlot permit you would need to know distances of nieghbors, wells, tile inlets, sensitive features, and ag fields. This map gives you a snap shot of the environment around your site.

Elevation Maps

Representation on a flat surface of any region that depicts the elevation of that region.

Grid Maps

Depicit nutrient level differences within your field at a 2.5ac plot size. With this knowledge you can reduce fertilizer costs through variable rate spreading.

Management Zone Maps

Management Zone maps are built by taking several layers of imagery and averaging them out over the same field.  Layers can include LiDAR (topography), NDVI (vegetative reflectance), NIR (near infra-red), yield maps, electrical conductivity maps (Veris), and more.  The result is a map of management zones that share similar characteristics and can be grouped together for several precision agriculture applications

Soil Maps

Illistrate soil type Codes, which tell you depth to water table, soil profiles, soil types such as sandy loam or silty clay loam.

Water Shed Maps

Tells you what watershed your livestock operation or home is located within. For example, if you were in the Mississippi watershed drainage from your land would eventually drain into that river.

Illustrates the layout of your livestock operation. This is needed for feedlot expansions when Applying for MPCA permits.

Wetland Maps

Show location of wetlands and what type they are such as deep water marsh, seasonally flooded, etc. See map legend for other wetland descriptions.
