Jared & Kami Anez
President & Vice-President
Jared Anez is President of Anez Consulting Inc., in Willmar, MN, a business he started in 1997. Anez Consulting serves clients from over 25 counties in MN and over 6 counties in North and South Dakota. Anez Consulting handles all types of agricultural clients, from crop to livestock farms, and is responsible for developing production and conservation plans that promote environmental stewardship and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Jared is a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA), a MMPA Environmental Quality Assurance Program (EQA) Technician as well as a United States Department of Agriculture Technical Service Provider (TSP).
Jared grew up on a crop and livestock farm near Little Falls, MN. He was a Minnesota State Pork Ambassador in 1991. Jared went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from North Dakota State University at Fargo in 1993. After graduation he worked as a Livestock Production Specialist for Land O’Lakes Feed in Cottonwood, MN until 1996.
Anez Consulting Inc. is a 2 Star Sponsor of Minnesota Milk Producers Association. Jared has been a director with the Minnesota Independent Crop Consultants Association since 2000. He has been an associate member of the Minnesota Pork Producers Association since 2003, and currently sits on the Legislative Committee. Jared became an associate member of the Minnesota Farm Bureau in 2005. He is an Ag. Committee member of the Willmar Chamber of Commerce.
Kami Anez is a consulting pharmacist servicing area nursing homes.

Tom is an avid outdoorsman that’s worked in a variety of roles ranging from forestry, wildfire suppression to his current role in ag consulting. He joined the family business in 2008 and has recently taken on the position of Operations Manager at Anez Consulting Inc. Tom is committed to carrying on the legacy that his brother Jared worked so hard to build.
Environmental Compliance Specialist
Angelica is an Environmental Compliance Specialist for Anez Consulting, Inc. in Willmar. Angelica’s main focus at this time is the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP). In addition to approaching new prospects for the program, she assists producers in understanding, executing and complying with the enhancements they have chosen for their CSP contract. When not working on CSP, Angelica assists with crop scouting, agronomy sales and preparing Nutrient and Pest Management Plans.
Prior to working with Anez, Angelica spent 15 years with MN DHIA as a Field Rep Supervisor serving herds in Kandiyohi, Meeker, Mcleod, Renville, Sibley, and Yellow Medicine Counties.
As a student at Ridgewater College in Willmar, Angelica began her career with Anez Consulting as an intern in the fall of 2007.
Angelica grew up on a dairy farm near Corvuso, MN and is the mother of 3 children.
Office Manager / Accountant
Steph is our office manager and assists with accounting, marketing and day to day operations. She grew up on a farm in southern Minnesota and lives in New London with her three children. Steph spends much of her free time following her kids to football, hockey, track and dance events. Steph also has experience with web design, an extensive background in accounting, along with a history of working mainly with farm clientele at a public accounting firm.
Engineering / Permitting Consultant
David Plagge joined Anez Consulting as an Engineering/Permitting Consultant. He provides design and drafting services in support of construction projects, on-site testing and inspection services, air dispersion modeling in support of Environmental Assessment Worksheets (EAWs), as well as permitting support. David is a graduate of Dunwoody College and has 17 years of experience in all phases of commercial and residential land development and construction, from Phase I Environmental Assessments and surveying, to permitting, design and construction. Prior to joining Anez, he performed engineering and environmental permitting and compliance duties for commercial and industrial facilities. Responsibilities included preparation and certification of Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Facility Response Plans (FRP), Emergency Response Action Plans (ERAP), preparation of air permit applications, development of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), coordination and documentation of engineering and compliance stack testing, preparation and submittal of Green House Gas Inventories, performing air dispersion modeling in support of air permit applications and Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. David lives with his wife and three children in Maynard and enjoys time with his family when not at work.
Ag Nutrient Consultant
Jeff was born and raised on a grain and livestock farm near Kerkhoven and spent several years in production. His background includes many years in swine genetic sales and a time with the National Pork Producers / Minnesota Pork Producers working with the Strategic Investment Program. He is a past president of the Minnesota Pork Producers and a current member.
Jeff works with producers with their Manure Management Plans, Feedlot Permitting and EQIP rograms. Jeff also works with the Real Time Ag software program to assist producers in ensuring that nutrient application records are kept in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Suzie is our office assistant. She grew up on a dairy farm in rural Pennock and currently farms with her husband, Mike raising corn and soybeans. Suzie previously worked at a public accounting firm in Willmar doing payrolls and monthly bookkeeping.
Suzie and Mike have two grown and married children and one grandchild. Outside of work Suzie enjoys spending time with her family, reading and watching HGTV.
Ag Nutrient Technician
Caroline is an Ag Nutrient Technician with Anez Consulting Inc. in Willmar, MN. She grew up on a dairy farm near Fairchild, WI and is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy. She has spent the past year and half working on the Soybean Breeding and Genetics program at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She has experience in soil research and crop scouting throughout southern and western Wisconsin, and has recently passed her Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) exam.
Caroline works along with Jeff Bauman to help producers with their Manure Management Plans, Livestock and Feedlot Permitting needs. She also works with the Real Time Ag software program to assist producers in ensuring that nutrient applications are kept in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
