Kami Anez holds a Doctor of Pharmacy and recently stepped into the role of President of Anez Consulting. She is taking agriculture related classes through Purdue online and is overseeing the day to day operations of Anez Consulting. She is also working towards becoming a Technical Service Provider (TSP) for NRCS. Kami grew up on a farm outside of Valley City, ND. She went to NDSU, where she met her husband, Jared. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from NDSU in 1994. She then completed a residency program from the University of Minnesota specializing in geriatric medicine. Today Kami is busy running the business that she and her late husband built together and raising six wonderful children. She is active in her church and is passionate about following her children to their activities, including 4H, Wrestling, Running, Dance and more.
Jared grew up on a crop and livestock farm near Little Falls, MN. He was a Minnesota State Pork Ambassador in 1991. Jared went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from North Dakota State University at Fargo in 1993. After graduation he worked as a Livestock Production Specialist for Land O’Lakes Feed in Cottonwood, MN until 1996. Anez Consulting was founded in 1997 in Willmar, MN and now serves clients from over 25 counties in Minnesota and numerous counties in Wisconsin, North and South Dakotas. Jared passed away unexpectedly in March 2017, having been president of the company for the past 20 years. He was heavily involved in the agriculture community and church.
Tom is an avid outdoorsman that’s worked in a variety of roles ranging from forestry, wildfire suppression to his current role Operations Manager. He joined the family business in 2008 and has recently taken on the position of Operations Manager at Anez Consulting Inc. Office Manager / Accountant
Steph is our office manager and assists with accounting, human resources, marketing, GIS and day to day operations. She grew up on a farm in southern Minnesota and lives in Richmond with her husband Pete. Together they have five grown children which they enjoy traveling with, hanging out at their cabin and golfing.
Engineering / Permitting Consultant
David Plagge joined Anez Consulting as an Engineering/Permitting Consultant. He provides design and drafting services in support of construction projects, on-site testing and inspection services, air dispersion modeling in support of Environmental Assessment Worksheets (EAWs), as well as permitting support. David is a graduate of Dunwoody College and has 17 years of experience in all phases of commercial and residential land development and construction, from Phase I Environmental Assessments and surveying, to permitting, design and construction. Prior to joining Anez, he performed engineering and environmental permitting and compliance duties for commercial and industrial facilities. Responsibilities included preparation and certification of Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Facility Response Plans (FRP), Emergency Response Action Plans (ERAP), preparation of air permit applications, development of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), coordination and documentation of engineering and compliance stack testing, preparation and submittal of Green House Gas Inventories, performing air dispersion modeling in support of air permit applications and Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. David lives with his wife and three children in Maynard and enjoys time with his family when not at work.
Ag Nutrient Consultant
Jeff was born and raised on a grain and livestock farm near Kerkhoven and spent several years in production. His background includes many years in swine genetic sales and a time with the National Pork Producers / Minnesota Pork Producers working with the Strategic Investment Program. He is a past president of the Minnesota Pork Producers and a current member. Jeff works with producers with their Manure Management Plans, Feedlot Permitting and EQIP rograms. Jeff also works with the Real Time Ag software program to assist producers in ensuring that nutrient application records are kept in compliance with State and Federal regulations. firstname.lastname@example.org
Suzie is our office assistant. She grew up on a dairy farm in rural Pennock and currently farms with her husband, Mike, raising corn and soybeans. Suzie previously worked at a public accounting firm in Willmar doing payrolls and monthly bookkeeping. Outside of work Suzie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading.
Senior Ag Nutrient Technician
Caroline is a Senior Ag Nutrient Advisor with Anez Consulting Inc. in Willmar, MN. She grew up on a dairy farm near Fairchild, WI and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy. She has experience in soil research and crop scouting throughout southern and western Wisconsin, and is a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA). Caroline currently works with NRCS conservation programs including EQIP and CSP. In 2016, she obtained a Type IV operator certification to work with Industrial By-Product land application ensuring that nutrient applications are kept in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Brent grew up on a grain and livestock farm near Clarkfield, MN and recently graduated from North Dakota State University in the Fall of 2017, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Brent will be assisting the Anez Engineering crew with surveying, manure storage design and construction materials testing of both concrete and soils. Brent recently passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam in September, and is working towards to become a PE.
When not working, Brent enjoys playing with his active and very independent dog, Dakota.
Ag nutrient technician
Kristi relocated to Willmar after graduating from South Central College in Mankato in 2017 with a associates degree in Agronomy Ag Business Service and Management. She grew up on a crop and hog farm just North of Truman MN. She has had experience working on the family farm, in seed research, crop scouting, and in dairy.
Kristi has been working on the Conservation Stewardship Program(CSP) with Anez. She assists producers in understanding, executing and complying with the enhancements they have chosen for their CSP contracts. She has also been working on creating Nutrient and Pest Management Plans for new/renewal CSP contracts.
When not at work she spends much of her time participating in local theater events, perusing music, and milking cows at the Gatewood Farm near Svea.
